Guest Engineer Day 2009 (9 images)

As mentioned in the 2008 Guest Engineer Program, the program has been successful for many years. The students proudly polish the brass trim on the vintage steam locomotive. Later they receive their manditory railroad safety course. Finally the momement they have been waiting for, their chance at the throttle. Each engineer does two "run arounds" and watch the crew re-couple the locomotive. This is a great day for everyone and the Guest Engineers return home with pleasant memories.
